Meet Dr. Nicewander

Dr. Nicewander is native of Indianapolis, born and raised in the Castleton area. Since junior high, he dreamed of being a dentist, so after receiving his Bachelor or Arts degree from Indiana University, it was a natural progression to apply to dental school. He was accepted in to the program at Indiana University School of Dentistry and received his doctorate in 1977. True to his roots, he opened his first dental practice in Castleton where he has been practicing ever since. He is a member of the Indiana District Dental Society, the Indiana Dental Society, the American Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Nicewander and his wife, Carol, have two beautiful grown daughters; Kari and Julie. For fun, he loves spending time at their cabin in Brown County, biking, hiking and even dabbles a little in golf.

Patients find Dr. Nicewander to be very honest, sincere, and conscience of their needs and concerns. He works very hard to make sure that all of his patients are treated in a kind, caring and respectful manner. Continuing education is high on the doctor's list of priorities so that he is always able to provide his patients the very best that dentistry has to offer. His staff members are carefully chosen and very well trained so that they perfectly compliment the doctor and his practice philosophy. The office atmosphere is fun and friendly, in addition to being technologically advanced.
